We were called to this job to investigate a problem where a Basement Room would flood during heavy rain.

The client was expecting a large drainage job to rectify the situation.

We recommended that a Drain Camera with locating equipment be used to check the underground drains before any other work was carried out.

The camera investigation was carried out. This showed that the storm water drain at the rear south corner of the property was almost completely blocked.

The drain was located and an inspection opening with overflow grate was installed.

This saved the client a lot of money by identifying a major fault quickly and maybe that’s all that’s needed to be done to solve the flooding problem.
